PRINTABLE MATHS HOMEWORK
Real problems. Room to think.
Choose skills already taught. Create a short set children can work through at home.
REAL-LIFE PROBLEMS
My maths homework
The answer sheet prints separately. Read problems aloud when needed so reading difficulty does not obscure the maths.
Choosing homework and printing
Keep it manageable
Choose familiar skills, start with four questions, and use the example to remind children of a method. Give families permission to read a question aloud. Children can show working with numbers, words or drawings.
Scope of this release
Number facts, place value and fractions are included. Year presets are teacher-adjustable suggestions, not a complete curriculum sequence or a test of attainment. Years 7–8 presets review these supported skills.
A4 worksheet printing
Use A4 portrait at 100% scale and turn off browser headers and footers. There are four problems per page, with room for working. Print answers separately for the teacher.
Curriculum reference
Use the NZ Mathematics and Statistics teaching sequences to choose learning already taught. These materials are supplementary practice and have not received independent specialist validation.
