Practice after teaching
This first release covers number facts, place value and fractions. It supports adjustable practice across primary and intermediate classrooms; it is not a complete Years 0–8 maths programme. Challenge settings describe the task, rather than assigning a learner to a year level.
Use the models
Ten frames show spaces to fill. Arrays show equal groups. Fraction strips divide one whole into equal parts. Read the model together before independent practice.
Print your set
Choose A4 portrait, 100% scale and disable the browser’s headers and footers. Six cards fit on each page. Tick Answer sheet to add numbered answers after the cards.
Curriculum reference
The NZ Mathematics and Statistics teaching sequences provide the wider progression. This tool’s settings are practice choices, not official attainment standards or Ministry endorsement.
